Claims Adjuster - Financial Lines

London

£50,000 to £55,000 + Excellent Benefits**We are currently recruiting for a Financial Lines Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known brand in the Lloyd's insurance market.

The primary purpose of the role is to proactively adjust a portfolio of Financial Institutions and Professional Lines Claims, ensuring that you deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Developing a thorough understanding of the Underwriting and Claims within the Management Professional Lines portfolio.
Proactively adjusting Claims within your authority level and in accordance with the company claims vision.
Ensuring that sufficient financial provisions are held for all claims within your portfolio.
Developing and maintaining close and collaborative working relationships with divisional Underwriters and Actuaries.
Ensuring delegated claims are managed effectively, with oversight of TPAs/Service Providers via regular reporting on key performance indicators, peer reviews, file reviews, and general sharing of best practice.
Instructing and proactively overseeing Lawyers, Adjusters and experts from the company panel.

Key Requirements

Previous experience of handling Financial Institutions and Professional Lines Claims.
Good understanding of policy coverage, benefits and exclusions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
