We are looking for a Head of IT to join our rapidly expanding team in Edinburgh.


You will have responsibility for leading and overseeing the organisation's IT department, ensuring the development and implementation of effective IT strategies aligned with business objectives.


You will focus on leveraging technology to support and enhance Enoda's operations, enabling growth, innovation, and a secure digital environment.

As a Head of IT at Enoda, you'll spend your time

  • Developing and implementing the overall IT strategy aligned with the business objectives of the organisation
  • Overseeing the IT department and managing a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensuring the design, maintenance, and security of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware
  • Taking charge of cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's data and systems from potential threats and breaches
  • Creating and managing the IT budget, making costeffective decisions, and optimising IT spending
  • Engaging with external IT vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of quality services and products
  • Establishing IT policies and procedures that comply with industry regulations and legal requirements
  • Overseeing IT support services to address and resolve issues faced by employees in their daily operations
  • Developing and implementing plans to ensure IT systems can recover effectively in case of a disaster or major outage

The key experience we're looking for

  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute IT strategies that align with the organisation's business objectives
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate IT teams effectively
  • Expertise in implementing robust security measures to protect the organisation from cyber threats and data breaches, including industry standards (ISO 27001 & Cyber Essentials) and principles of Zero Trust Architecture
  • Proficiency in overseeing and delivering IT projects on time and within budget, including making costeffective decisions
  • Experience in managing relationships with IT vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to lead the IT department through organisational changes and technological advancements
  • Strong communication skills to interact with key stakeholders, including Clevel executives and nontechnical staff

Additional skills & experience relevant to the role

  • Experience working in the Azure & Office 365focused environment
  • Knowledge of different operating systems (Microsoft, MacOS and Linux)
  • Problemsolving mindset

  • Salary: £75,000 £95,000 dependent on skills & experience
