Role:
Assembly Operative

Main Duties:

To support production to ensure the seamless running of the various manufacturing cells. This will require a number of different activities;

• The preparation and cutting of wood, plastic & metal lengths.
• The build of small sub assemblies.
• Using the specialist cutting table to cut and shape roller fabrics.
• Collecting finished products from each cell, to start the packing process.
• The creation of custom packing boxes, supporting the Warehouse Manager with the dispatch of finished goods.
• Perform all work in accordance with the quality standards and safety procedures.
• Training is provided where necessary.

Required Experience/Skills

• Previous experience of being in a factory is preferable.
• Good written and spoken English, essential.
• Keen eye for detail with high standards of work.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team.
• Essential to be able to use a tape measure and ruler.
