Position Description

Vehicle dismantler - 4x4 parts

Salary - To be negotiated

Working hours - Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Location - Rotherham

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive individual to work within the Automotive parts sector. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the UK's leading independent Mitsubishi specialist. Mitzy Bitz has been a leader in the automotive sector for 20 years, with strong core values. Providing support to customers world wide.

Responsibilities:


A pivotal role within the parts operation of the business. Responsible for dismantling cars to guidelines set out by the company and the recycling industry in a purpose built depollution bay with a 2 post ramp. Ensuring all parts are labelled and can be traced back to the donor vehicle. Whilst at the same time ensuring compliance with all company policy and procedures. Ultimately leading to the success of the company operation.

. Immediately labelling parts that come off vehicles.

  • Maintain the parts department in a clean and organised manner.
  • Liaise with the digital marketing team any issues.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Experience of using a forklift would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers, colleagues and vendors.
  • Working as a team player, flexible and helpful ensuring support for both colleagues and customers.

Experience Required:
The ability to work in an organised and methodical manner in a fast paced environment.

You will have to have good communication skills and be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure positive results.

Previous experience working in a salvage yard or motor vehicle workshop and knowledge or an interest in motor vehicles would be desirable.

You will be a team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
