If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Credit Controller/Accounts Manager, focusing on our commercial property portfolio.

Monday - Friday

8am-5pm

Payrate dependent on experience.


Responsibilities:


As a Credit Controller/Accounts Manager, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure the financial health of our commercial property ventures.


Your key duties will include:

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of accounts, including commercial property rentals, service charges, insurance, utilities and other billed sums.
  • Liaise closely with property and asset managers to swiftly address any queries or discrepancies, ensuring a smooth and seamless financial operation.
  • Participate in weekly debt meetings with the Manager to provide updates, insights and contribute to strategic debt recovery plans.
  • Utilise your meticulous attention to detail to reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on customer accounts, promptly addressing issues and discrepancies to maintain financial stability.
  • Engage with external partners such as Solicitors, Enforcement Agents, and liquidators when required to navigate complex debt recovery scenarios.
  • Take decisive actions by initiating legal proceedings in cases where standard debt recovery efforts are exhausted.
  • Efficiently generate customer invoices while adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant procedures and guidelines to uphold financial integrity.
  • Skillfully handle card payments and maintain accurate payment records.
  • Embrace flexibility by taking on any ad hoc duties that arise in the course of managing commercial property accounts.

Requirements:


  • Showcase your exceptional organizational skills, coupled with an innate ability to prioritize tasks for maximum efficiency.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a credit control environment is crucial to hit the ground running in this role.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Exhibit a collaborative spirit, fostering a harmonious and productive team environment.
  • Thrive under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations.
