Springwood High School have a vacancy for a 1-1 Teaching assistant
28.75 to 30.92 to hours/week,
Monday - Friday

Scale C, Pt 4, £10.98/hour. Approx £ 14,098 to £ 15,162 (FTE £ 21,189/per year based on a 37hr week Please note the Salary will be pro rata)

1 Year fixed term contract with the possibility of being extended

We are seeking to appoint motivated, dedicated and proactive 1 -1 teaching assistants to join our friendly team.

As a pupil specific Teaching Assistant, you will work with a student & teaching team to raise the individuals learning and attainment, while also promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.

Providing support to pupils so that they can access the curriculum & participate in learning helps to experience a sense of achievement, implementing strategies & advice included in their Education, Health & Care plan or learning profile.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 but Exceptions Order may apply.
