Job Description

Specifically as the Linen Porter:

Managing the items laundered in the Linen/Laundry areas
Assisting the linen deliveries in the pantries and service areas
Covering uniform issuing and dispatch to contractors the staff uniforms and guest work
Providing a great guest experience by avoiding oversights, damage and late deliveries where possible
Communicating with Laundry, guest work contractors and the equipment suppliers (regular maintenance)
Ensuring all floors are well stocked with linen, allowing a smooth turn round of guest rooms
Ensuring clear dirty linen continually from the floors, time to time check the chute areas if has any linen to be collected.
Delivering items of bedding to the room attendant when requested
Responsible for the linen and the equipment in laundry
Conducting daily linen stock issuing the RFID system
Processing quality check on the linen/toweling and deal with reject and damaged linen
Assisting with the staff uniform delivery and collection supply and support the valet team if needed
Maintaining the hotel's stock of linen
Flexible in your working hours inline with business requirements
Adhering to the grooming standards, your uniform is well presented, clean, and ironed
Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned

Who are we looking for?

Recent experience within luxury wellness or a similar role
Attention to details
Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering the best service and experiences possible in any situation
Able to work within a team
Multitasking
Flexibility of working under pressure
Ability to communicate in English
