Main Duties

• Follow all company policies, operating procedures, safety regulations and guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service to hangar tenants, aircraft crew and clients.
• Prepare the ramp for arrival / departing aircraft, wing walking and towing aircraft in / out of the hangar.

- operate a variety of airport ground equipment and vehicles, to include but not limited to : belt loaders, lavatory trucks, water bowser, aircraft steps, GPUs & aircraft tugs.

• Perform work with mínimal supervision and make recommendations to resolve problems or issues by using own judgement, consistent with standards, practices, policies and procedures.
• Notify Supervisor / Manager of any equipment malfunctions and/or damage.
• Notify department Manager of any incidents, accidents or close calls and insure that an incident report is completed.

- perform any other duties as directed by the line Supervisor / Manager.


Required Skills:

• A Minimum of 12 months pushback and towing experience.
• A minimum 2 years ground handling experience.
• Must live within 1 hour of Stansted Airport.
• Aircraft Marshalling would be advantageous.
• Must be able to work on own initiative.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a full driving licence and the ability to hold an airside pass is essential for this position.
• Ability to use computer programs to complete necessary paperwork such as service logs & reports etc.

To be considered for this role you will need to provide the following

• Full 5 year history that accounts for ALL periods of employment, unemployment and self employment
• Valid photographic proof of identity e.g. passport or driving licence
• Proof of National Insurance No.

- proof identity and address (Utility bill, Bank statement etc)

• Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Airside security clearance.
• Where an individual has resided outside the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years, the appropriate clearance must be obtained i.e. overseas criminal record check (OCRC) from the country of origin.

Salary:
£28,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
