Service Team Leader / Lead Service Engineer

£45K-£55K + Car Allowance + OT + Matched Pension

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking business at the forefront of technology and automation.

They have an international customer base made up of instantly recognisable blue-chip clients within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG and clean energy industries.

The solutions they provide are completely bespoke and designed and manufactured on site. Due to a restructure of the service department, they are now looking to recruit a service team leader.

The Role:

This is a varied and challenging role and covers technical and commercial responsibilities:

A mix of office based work and field based work with UK and overseas travel required.
The Service Team leader will lead and motivate a small team of service engineers.
Scheduling and prioritising work including service visits, emergency breakdowns, machine upgrades and modifications, install and commissioning.
Mentoring engineers and checking work
Meeting customers to discuss opporntities for service contracts, and machine upgrades.

Required Experience:

The Service team leader can be an experienced manager looking for a new challenge, or a technical engineer looking for the next stage in their career.
You can be from a service, commissioning, or maintenance background.
You must have experience on complex, automated machinery.
You must be flexible in your approach to work and be flexible to travel and work away from home.
You must be multiskilled with experience in electrical, mechanical and PLC fault finding.
Organisation and planning skills as massively important as is the ability to build strong relationships with customers and clients.
