Alexander Steele are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor in Scunthorpe. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established food manufacturer.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • The Production Supervisor oversees and manages the Team Leaders and Production Operatives which includes assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that team members adhere to safety and quality concerns.
  • They will collaborate with production managers and planners to develop production schedules and ensure that resources, equipment, and materials are available and allocated properly to meet targets.
  • The Team Leader ensures that products meet the required quality standard. This may include conducting regular quality checks and implementing quality control processes.
  • Production Supervisor are responsible for identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the production process. They troubleshoot problems and implement solutions to minimise downtime and production delays.
  • Expected to track and analyse production metrics, such as output, efficiency, and waste, to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to optimise production performance.
  • They must ensure all team members follow health and safety protocols by creating a safe environment and highlighting any potential risks.
  • Supervisors also must ensure that the production process complies with relevant regulations, industry standards and company policies.

On Offer:


  • A annual salary of £34,800
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime (Midweek 1.33x, Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x)

Salary:
£34,800.00 per year
