Content Executive - One-Year Fixed Term Contract
Leicester City are looking for a talented and motivated Content Executive to join its Content & Creative Team on a one-year fixed-term contract.
Overall objective
To produce high quality, accurate written coverage across club activity, including but not limited to: LCFC Men, LCFC Women, LCFC Men U21s, CSR programs and The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, for use across the Club's online and offline platforms, on a one-year fixed term contract.
Main objectives
- To provide written coverage of all of the Club's football and nonfootball activities, including but not limited to: LCFC Men, LCFC Women, LCFC Men U21s, CSR programs and the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation.
- To assist the Senior Content Executive and Content Executive(s) with their roles when needed.
Summary of duties
- To attend selected matches, home and away, providing editorial and social media coverage.
- To provide written coverage of selected Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and Leicester City in the Community events, alongside the Content Executive(s).
- To produce editorial copy for the Club's official website, social media platforms and editorial publications.
- Assist other members of the department, including the Content Manager and Senior Content Executive and Content Executive(s), with the successful syndication of written content across different online and offline channels.
- To conduct regular video and editorial interviews with a variety of squad members.
- To assist the Content Manager, Senior Content Executive and Content Executive in ensuring editorial content is a significant contributor to the overall content mix.
- Work with other members of the department to ensure successful delivery of the Club's content strategy.
- Assist the Content Manager, Senior Content Executive and Content Executive(s) with the delivery of monthly targets and KPIs, set by the Head of Content and Creative.
- Adhoc duties.
- Work with colleagues to identify opportunities to support and/or develop the diversity and inclusion within the team and wider Club.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all time.
- Friendly, well organised with the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Possess strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work.

- Excellent IT skills (including excellent MS Office
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work to tight deadlines.

- Flexible approach to long distance workbased travel.
