NDT INSPECTOR REQUIRED GAINSBOROUGH, LINCOLNSHIRE. IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE, £15.77/HOUR
Our client based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire are currently looking for a welding/NDT Inspector to start as soon as possible (starting early January.)

Key responsibilities:

Carry out the roles/responsibilities as define in BSEN ISO1473
Ensure products (where applicable) comply to BSEN ISO15085 or BSEN ISO1090.
Ensuring all new products/processes meet BSEN ISO3834 requirements, by supporting the project/manufacturing engineering team(s) & implement the appropriate processes to ensure existing products/process meet BSEN ISO3834 requirements.

These are to be done by:

Setting up any traceability processes to meet specific customer requirements.
Generate preliminary weld procedure specification & weld procedure specifications for the development projects & existing products.
Facilitate the generation of weld procedure qualification records to comply with BSEN ISO15614/1561
Support the welder qualification process to comply with BSEN ISO a.
Carry out nondestructive & destructive testing.
Regularly auditing the relevant processes to ensure compliance to the relevant standards.
To assist with any investigation activities, to be proactive and to deliver feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Undertake necessary, identified training by the company, to allow you to progress in this role and to train of any identified staff.
Any other duties assigned in line with scope of role.

Essential Key skills:

CSWIP weld inspector
Ability to perform various NDT weld inspection methods (incl Dye Penetrant Testing/Visual Inspection/Macro Examination).
Ability to read, analyse & interpret engineering drawings & update drawings to ensure compliance to BSEN ISO255
Ability to create technical documentation and display good presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively within teams and liaise across functions.
Demonstrated problem solving skills and techniques
Ability to introduce new methods and ideas ensuring a continuous improvement ethos
Demonstrates attention to detail through all stages of processes
Can work and communicate effectively with others
