About us:

At Cedar Park School we are working together to develop our children as happy, safe and successful learners, that are able to grow in confidence, are motivated and take an independent lead in their own learning journey.

We are underpinned by three key principles; Be kind, Be inspired, Believe. These principles run through the veins of the school and are at the heart of everything we do.

About the role:

The role will include working with individual and groups of children as well as supporting the class teacher.

About you:

We are seeking to appoint someone with real enthusiasm, a positive attitude, a good sense of humour and an ability to use their initiative whilst supporting the class teacher.

The applicant will need to be an excellent communicator, possess great organisational skills, be enthusiastic, adaptable, confident, friendly, and a committed team worker that enjoys working with children aged 4 to 11 years.

An NVQ Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification would be desirable as well as a current First Aid qualification.

Other information:

Visits to the school are warmly welcome. To arrange a visit, please contact Cathy Gallagher in our school office on the number below. Alternatively, Luke Redman (Headteacher) is very happy to talk to you over the phone.

Tel No:

At Cedar Park School every staff member is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of the children in our care. We expect all staff, Governors and volunteers to share this commitment.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy which can be viewed here.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies, when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with parents/carers first, unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.
**We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.
