Description
Our client are a London-based technology company offering specialist services to the Fire, Oil and Gas and Aviation industries including the design/build of live fire training facilities, and training services to industry professionals.
Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Overall project management for various projects
- Create drawings and designs in AutoCAD
- Create project plans in MS Project
- Collate and review project documents such as risk assessments and method statements
- Complete all project documentation required by clients
- Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
- Follow up and deliver projects successfully
- Write technical proposals to be sent out to customers
- Visit project sites (you must be eligible to travel to Gulf countries)
Ideal Qualifications/Experience
In order to be successful, the ideal person will be self-motivated and feel comfortable taking on a number of concurrent tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritising those tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Background in instrumentation, mechanical or electrical disciplines
- Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical design principles
- Hands on technical experience
- Fire simulation projects background is a big plus
- Graduate or 23 years of experience as a project engineer
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project and Office Suite
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
