Description

Our client are a London-based technology company offering specialist services to the Fire, Oil and Gas and Aviation industries including the design/build of live fire training facilities, and training services to industry professionals.


Project Engineer Responsibilities

  • Overall project management for various projects
  • Create drawings and designs in AutoCAD
  • Create project plans in MS Project
  • Collate and review project documents such as risk assessments and method statements
  • Complete all project documentation required by clients
  • Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
  • Follow up and deliver projects successfully
  • Write technical proposals to be sent out to customers
  • Visit project sites (you must be eligible to travel to Gulf countries)

Ideal Qualifications/Experience


In order to be successful, the ideal person will be self-motivated and feel comfortable taking on a number of concurrent tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritising those tasks.


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Background in instrumentation, mechanical or electrical disciplines
  • Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical design principles
  • Hands on technical experience
  • Fire simulation projects background is a big plus
  • Graduate or 23 years of experience as a project engineer
  • Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project and Office Suite
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
