Dealing with non-financial people will come naturally and a knowledge of product costs will be imperative as the finance business partner supports the frontline commercial decisions in this business.


This company constantly walks the commercial tightrope of volume, market share and profitability which is why your insight, analysis and influence is fundamental in the strategic performance of this business.


Your new role
Supporting the operational teams the key responsibilities of the finance business partner:

  • Ad hoc decisions and queries in real time from the GM and their SLT
  • Analysing product costings, presenting clear and insightful information
  • Monitor, maintain and help mitigate risks and opportunities
  • Influence and proactively challenge the business
  • Making recommendations

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner you'll have the right level of stretch and support helping your personal and professional development.

Benefits

  • Base salary: £40k to £50k (40 hours per week)
  • Chichester 5 days per week
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Bonus (on target = 5%)

Skills and experience to be successful

  • An understanding of what makes a successful finance business partner
  • A factory or manufacturing environment
  • The desire to lead the agenda and drive action
  • The ability to take data, providing insight and recommendations
  • Having the ability to see the bigger picture, spot trends and themes
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Data manipulation in excel. And presentations in powerpoint

The Interview Process

  • 60 minute TEAMS interview
  • 60 minute face to face meeting
