Specialist, People Operations - London, United Kingdom - Showpad

Position Overview:
The People Operations team is part of the global People team and makes sure that a Showpad employee should never lose sleep over any HR matter.
You'll contribute to the overall employee experience of our Showpad colleagues by playing a role in flawless onboarding (drafting employment contracts, setup payroll and benefits), smooth monthly payroll preparation, benefits administration, exploring employee queries and offboarding (assisting with resignations and terminations).
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management for UK & France: gather & process payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and timeoff records.
- Employee Relationship Management: Respond promptly to employee inquiries and provide guidance to employees on various HR topics; e.g. leaves of absence, workplace policies,
- Contracts &
Legal Paperwork:
Draft, review, and discuss contracts and legal agreements to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable laws. Collaborate with external parties, negotiating and finalizing contractual agreements
- Compliance Activities &
Benefits Administration:
Ensure compliance and stay updated on relevant legislation, best practices in UK & France. Own employee benefits program for employees in UK & France.

Minimum Requirements:
- Experience as an HR specialist or equivalent, including experience in a payroll function (preparation, year
- end reporting, and payroll taxes
- Knowledge of employment/social legislation and payroll/benefit operations in UK and/or France
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team with a high level of organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about helping others and providing excellent customer service combined with a good portion of critical business thinking
- Demonstrated problemsolving abilities, with a proactive and solutionoriented mindset and ability to work well under pressure and set priorities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Excellent with written and verbal communication with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
