Psychologist Pay Rate:
£25 per hour (assignment rate)


Location:
Blackburn, Lancashire


Contract Type:
Locum, Ongoing and Full-time


Working Arrangements:
Hybrid working available but not fully remote as some face to face is required

Main Duties:


  • Video, telephone and face to face therapy
  • Provide high quality primary care IAPT and counselling) services to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of team policies and procedure.
  • Deliver IAPT Counselling services in accordance with NICE guidelines, within agreed activity levels and model, meeting required key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Promote wellbeing and social inclusion.
  • Work flexibly and in accordance with service demands.
  • Work to the agreed number of clinical contacts per week as set by the Team Lead

Requirements of the Counsellor:


  • Counsellors must be registered and accredited members of the BACP
  • Core qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy or Psychology
  • Counselling Psychologist with HCPC registration.
  • IAPT experience preferred
  • Ideally trained in Counselling for depression too
