The Panel Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the assembly and wiring of control panels on time and to budget as well as assisting with panel design and the testing of panels and any associated equipment

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

To supervise or undertake the Assembly & Wiring of the Control System Panels by internal staff or by subcontractors.
To help achieve agreed schedules and completion dates for all control system activities, within budget and to specification.
To control all systems equipment received from suppliers including the media.
To control equipment that is returned to the supplier for repair or for calibration.
To assist the test engineers if required, e.g., control of the tool store and test equipment.
This role may require the incumbent to work on Metering / Produced Water Treatment or any other related markets.
To assist with procurement as required.

Projects

To assist in the planning & maintaining of the Project panel build schedules.
To review all Subcontracted Control Panel work. This is a quality issue to ensure correct assembly, prior to Test.
To assist in the assembling & wiring of all System Control Panels and their associated equipment when assembled inhouse.
Responsible for the Inspection & Initial Testing of the Control Panels, prior to Power up.
To connect I/O simulation & assist with Control System I/O testing.
To supervise and ensure all subcontracted work are to schedule and meet relevant build standards.
To test control system and skid packages
Ensure that all orders, when delivered, are fully compliant with technical requirements.

Documentation

Ensure all documentation associated with Control Panel assembly, wiring, inspection & testing is correct and kept in good order, as per procedures.
Ensure that the Project documentation folder is passed back to Controls Projects upon completion/delivery of the respective panels to 'Systems' or client.
