Software Developer - IT Department

Permanent, Full-time

Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000

Working Hours:
Mon - Thurs 8.30am - 5.00pm & Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm

Oldbury, West Midlands - No remote working

My client is the UK's biggest construction specialist in cold roll forming company & is part of the largest steel and technology group in the world.
The IT Department provides information technology systems and support to all divisions within the business. They are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled C# Software Developer to join and strengthen the team.
The aim of this position is to assist with thedelivery of software for construction design and manufacturing systems.

  • Design, development, and support of software to business requirements, specification standards and quality
  • Database administration duties including maintenance and design
  • Producing documentation to the required standards and quality
  • Supporting system integration testing including input into test planning
  • Successfully meeting agreed targets.

Qualification/ Skills/ Experience:


  • 34 years' experience working within a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or Software Development
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years' programming experience including C#,.NET Framework, Delphi, Java, and JavaScript, WPF, XAML, WVVM and Database development and design knowledge using SQL
  • Be organised, selfmotivated, professional, and able to work under pressure
  • Be responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team » Be able to communicate systems and software development to users at all levels
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and mathematical analysis
