We work with some World-famous brands, the majority of which are in the Motorsport industry however, we also supply products into the Aerospace, MOD and Marine industries so as you can imagine quality is of the utmost importance.

We have a specially kittedout workshop, one that you would be proud to work in which is located conveniently just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre.

We are recruiting for lots of new team members due to huge growth within our order books.


Job Purpose:

To prepare safety foam of various complexities for ATL's products.


The Job


As a Foam Operative, you will work from CAD models and 2D drawings to produce foam for bladders and any other customer requirements.


Main Duties:


  • Working from CAD models and 2D drawings to produce foam for bladders and any other customer requirements.
  • Ensure all foam manufactured is in line with drawing and templates or any other relevant information.
  • To meet targets as per schedule.
  • Use provided equipment to manufacture foam
  • Hot wire, cutting knives etc.
  • Ensure all foam manufactured is free from defects when delivered to QC by employing a quality assurance method of working.
  • Responsible for all raw material from stock.
  • Ensure foam area is always kept neat and tidy.
  • Assist Cell Production Technicians with manufacture of foam when required/requested by Cell Production Manager.
  • Use environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with our environmental policy.
  • Seek ways to reduce waste and energy usage in accordance with our environmental objectives.
  • You may be required to complete other tasks, as required by the business.

  • No specific qualifications are required to succeed within this role.

Experience

  • Practical experience either from hobbies, education or work.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Good hand/eye coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a small team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
