An exciting opportunity for an French speaking experienced bookkeeper who is professional and personable, as well as highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced manner.
This role will be supporting the CEO who is based in Switzerland, though with frequent travel commitments. The role requires a bright, resilient bookkeeper who is fluent in French and English, and who thrives working independently.This is an excellent role for an individual who is commercially business-minded and a problem solver, who enjoys working by themselves, they will be in an office alongside another Executive Assistant.
Polished, well-spoken and happy to assist on a wide range of duties from business to personal and a happy and positive personality is essential.
Main duties include:
- Administration diary management, preparing reports, updating spreadsheets, managing budgets, day to day private & commercial bookkeeping, managing the payroll of domestic staff, bank reconciliations, making payments, assisting the wider business with financial reports and VAT returns
- Organising
- Keeping files, desktops, and diaries organised;
- Personal
- Trustworthiness and discretion. Striking a good balance between being firm yet personable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well bookkeeping experience is a must.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Written and spoken fluency in French and English
- Bookkeeping experience is essential to this role.
- At least 4 years' prior experience as an bookkeeper
- Highly organised
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
Other Details:
- Standard working week is 40 hours, ideally worked 9.00am 6.00pm
- Salary: £45k +, negotiable based on experience
