£90 - £120 per day

Overview:

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Cover Supervisor for an immediate start in
Ashington, Northumberland. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support student learning and contribute to the smooth running of the school environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classes during the shortterm absence of the regular teacher.
Follow preprepared lesson plans and ensure that learning objectives are met.
Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
Manage student behavior and respond to any issues in accordance with school policies.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people is desirable but not essential.
A commitment to upholding school policies and promoting positive behaviour among students.
