We work for some of London's leading Interior Designers, Architects and Property Developers.

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Assistant to join our very busy team.

This role will appeal to a natural organiser and communicator who can work in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and high-quality service is paramount.

Applicants should ideally have some experience within the interior têxtile industry and will have worked with furnishing fabrics, the construction industry and /or with FF&E.

Personal qualities will include excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to fit into a small busy team environment.

Flexibility to deal effectively with a range of personalities across clients, suppliers and colleagues is essential.

This will be aligned to a detailed and methodical approach to work and a natural desire for quality, accuracy, precision and problem solving.

Multi-tasking skills are essential.

The post is based at our offices and workroom close to Earlsfield Station /Tooting Broadway tube.

Roles & responsibilities

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager

• Assisting the Senior Project Manager on individual projects including all project administration, attending site surveys, recording measurements and site details.
• Calculating fabric quantities, creating estimates in line with both business margins and client requirements using EstiPC software.
• Providing a high level of service and responsiveness to all clients
• Placing orders for samples/fabrics/ hardware
• Updating Filemaker our management system
• Liaising with our production department to ensure the interpretation of the client brief / order is accurate, and the treatments can be manufactured on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Working closely with the Installations team to ensure all treatments/ items are fitted in accordance with client availability and requirements.
• Creating daily fitting schedules for the Installation technicians
• Answering calls and taking initial enquiries
• Preparing and maintaining both physical and online files
• Take direction and proactively and look to alleviate the workload from the Senior Project Manager
• General administration tasks Required Skills & Experience:

N.B This is not an interior design/ design role.

Industry experience Excellent numeracy, verbal and written English skills.

Skilled communicator High level of organisational skills Perform well under pressure.

Good time management skills Excellent attention to detail and high standards of execution Completer finisher who can follow processes throughout to the final installation.

Knowledge and understanding of EstiPC/ File Maker an advantage, but not essential.

Good level of IT skills, particularly EstiPC Excel, CAD, XERO Natural collaborator and team player Confident and good telephone manner/ skills Salary:
