Description
Drivers will make between 4 and 10 prearranged calls a day (average 6)

  • Your start time will be between 7am and 8.30am depending on how far you need to drive to your first pick up.
  • You will be supplied uniform.
  • Your route will be preplanned for you and will be similar each week.
  • You bring the collection back to base and a manager will instruct you where to unload.
Your responsibility

  • You will arrive for work punctually
  • You will treat customers and suppliers with respect
  • You will complete basic paper records of your days collections
  • You will work with other staff and encourage teamwork
  • You will carry out daily van checks and will keep the van clean and tidy.
Wage and hours

  • You will work a 40 hour week
  • You may have 1 early start of 7am the rest of the days will be 8.30.
  • Payment method is flexible
  • Performance related bonus
  • Occasional overtime.
  • You may be required to work 1 Saturday in 4 although this is rare.
Requirements and experience

  • Minimum 2 years full UK driving licence
  • Maximum 3 points
  • No DR10 or similar
  • Repeated lifting involved so you must be physically fit.
  • ABOVE ALL you should have a "can do" attitude
  • You must be able to read and write perfect English.

Salary:
£22,880.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rainham, RM13 8EL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
