About The Role:


Overall Purpose of the Role:

To create and maintain a quality standard to the agreed specification within set time limits within a specific area.

Working with the Facilities manager and alongside supervisors in ensuring agreed SLA's are met, Health and safety is monitored with issues reported and actioned in a timely manner.


You will be working 4 days on and 4 days off shift, on a permanent part-time basis, 05:00 to 22:30, 26.25 hours per week.


Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:
Ensure that a quality service is operated at all times

Adhere to company policies at all times.

Maintain health and safety standards.

Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.


Be the eyes and ears of the management team when on site addressing health and safety and raising any issues in a timely manner.


Manage the site team in ensuring operating standards are maintained and all documents and audits are completed in the correct timeframe.


Health & Safety Duties:

Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.

Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions

Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities. Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.

Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.

Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.

Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.

Group Safety Support:

You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support.

Furthermore you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control.


Professional Qualifications:

NVQ 2 in Healthcare not essential as training will be given.


Experience:

No prior experience required supervisory level experience desirable.


Requirements:

Driving license is essential.
