As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Inspector to join our busy team at our offices in Leeds.
This rewarding role will require someone with a keen eye for details as they will be inspecting a range of properties across the company's portfolio to ensure these buildings adhere to regulatory and statutory requirements, company policies and compliance frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking detailed property inspections on a quarterly/six monthly basis, considering all internal and external aspects of the property
- Detailed inspection reports, recording outcomes, proposals of next steps, and timescales for completion of works.
- Liaising with the Property Management team in relation to any inspection issues you have raised.
- Undertaking other general property checks such as meter readings, checking the operation of fire doors, checking emergency lights, bin stores, gardens, drives, lifts and electronic gates and ensuring they are operational.
- Diary management.
- Actively promoting a safe working culture and compliance with all relevant Health and Safety and other statutory requirements
It is essential for this role that you are able to drive, so a full, clean UK driving licence is a must.
Our properties are located throughout the UK, therefore, there will be a requirement to spend nights away, sometimes for several days at a time.
