The role
In this newly created fixed term senior people role, you'll be an integral part of creating and executing the world class people experience at Primary Bid.
We're looking for a true generalist, ideally someone who is immediately or almost immediately available with significant project management skills to lead on our compensation, performance and progression projects specifically, but also input into our department objective of creating a world class people service.
Key responsibilities
- Mentorship and development of People Operations and People Experience Specialists
- Executing on the people & culture strategy
- Ensuring the people function is delivering a 1st class service through the accuracy of data, support of tools and skill of the team
- Working closely with people partners and workplace experience to deliver an exceptional experience to all of PrimaryBid
- Support on the scoping of our compensation strategy, project manage and deliver through to successful completion
- Constant reevaluation of our People processes making recommendations on where to improve as we upskill the department
- Influence, coach, and develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels, gaining their acceptance, and driving change
- In depth input into succession planning, using the succession planning framework, you can see when and where our gaps are going to be
- Review our existing career and progression framework to reflect current and future skill needs
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of the employee lifecycle
- Significant project management and organisational skills
- Mentoring and coaching skills
- Excellent data management skills
- Understanding of working within a regulated environment within a scale up environment.
- High attention to detail, analytical and methodical approach
- Stakeholder management have the ability to influence and communicate with a range of people and background,
- You always add the personal touch to everything you do
A day in the life of a people operations lead
Every day for you will be varied, from mentoring and supporting the team, to working with the CPO and people partners on creating PrimaryBids compensation framework, or iterating on the current people service.
What to expect from working for PrimaryBid
We've adapted a hybrid working approach with most of our PrimaryBid team coming into the office 2 day a week, whoever takes on this role should be comfortable with coming into our Victoria offices twice a week (days etc flexible).
We're building a performance culture with a safe space to make mistakes. What's important to us is that we're all working together as a team and in line with our virtues.
