I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global service PLC based in Birmingham that has an excellent team ethos.


Due to considerable growth within the group my client is looking for a driven Management Accountant to compliment the team.

You will come into a hybrid working role where you will have the opportunity to work from home for a good part of the working weekbut still have constant support and development from management whenever required.

**Key Areas of the Role include: - **- Review the accuracy of information carried in Operational and Financial systems.

  • Review the Operational administration process to ensure that invoices are raised for chargeable revenue accurately and promptly and minimise the need to raise sales credit notes.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Inter-Company transactions
  • Review Contract level reports to ensure maximisation of Gross Margins and the reduction of Non Chargeable wage costs.
  • Review of Direct, Branch, Area and Selling overhead costs and the identification of Cost Reduction or Investment initiatives.
  • Review the Operational process to ensure that Price Reviews are actioned promptly and to the commercial benefit of the business.
  • Review DSO's by Branch to maximise Operating Cash flow.
  • Audit & process of incentive and commission scheme for payment by payroll in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with production of the Monthly Management Reporting including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with the development of Business Analysis and Benchmarking; to challenge the business to maximise profit margin.
  • Assist the team in the preparation of the Monthly/ Quarterly Forecasts and the Annual Business Plan.
  • Assist the Bid Team and Business Development Managers with the development of the Pricing tool, advice on pricing and the provision of financial information required for tenders.
**Key Attributes required:
- **My client is looking for an ambitious accountant with at least 1 years experience working within an accounting environment. You will most likely be a graduate who is now studying or has plans to study towards CIMA/ACCA and have a desire to pursue a careeras a Management Accountant. You will be motivational to others, analytical and able to use your initiative. You will need to be resilient and tenacious to be able to meet the demands of the business. Excellent communication skills are a must, along with strongIT skills and proven analytical skills.
