Treasury Assistant + Study Support

Manchester City Centre

£26,000 - £28,000

Opportunity to work within the Treasury department of a national enterprise, managing the cash and banking.

Unlike many Treasury roles in the market where your role will be quite niche and segregated from the main finance team, you will work closely with Payroll, Credit Control and the Financial Controller and everything you do will contribute and feed into every aspect of accounting.

You will also receive a study package for either the AAT, ACCA or CIMA - the reason being, the business like to promote and invest in their staff so that when opportunities become available, everyone in the team has been upskilled and, in a position, to progress.

Your role will involve the management of the banking & cash flow for various entities within Europe so you will be managing multiple currencies, updating the cash flow, managing the bank accounts and posting the journals at month-end.

Experience-wise, the business is looking for someone with banking & cash management experience or a background in Purchase Ledger so that you understand and have worked with payment processing; the rest, they will train you on and offer support with
