The Role:
This role is with Adopt South, the partnership Regional Adoption Agency for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, and Southampton local authorities, with the lead authority Hampshire County Council as the employer.

  • Adopt South have been awarded a Department of Education twoyear investment, to fund the exploration, creation, and development of a multiagency model of support, for families and their children.
  • Are you a Trauma Practitioner with the skills and experience to join our innovative Adoption Support multidisciplinary team?
  • The role will encompass inperson and online consultations to families and children impacted by behaviour, trauma and/or attachment, as well as knowledge building and learning for families and groups.This is an exciting new opportunity, so we are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm and motivation to support us with our growth and transformational practice as a team, as well as sharing our values for all children to reach their full potential. If appropriate, we will support the successful applicant with DDP training, or further DDP training, and to become certified in using Virtual Reality (VR) within your work.

Please note:

This role is fully based within the Adopt South team.

Day to day case and line management/supervision will be supported by the team (including the Educational Psychologist, Project Manager and other Senior Social Care colleagues).

Additionally, professional clinical supervision will be provided through the Adopt South Consultant Clinical Psychologist.- Working for Adopt South, your employer will be Hampshire County Council.
