Description
MODUS is a specialist provider of integrated project services and remote and autonomous technologies for SUBSEA and SEABED intervention.
Modus operates a comprehensive range of unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) systems, which are deployed across the entire life cycle of a subsea field development.
To coordinate and administer the purchasing & logistics requirements of the business to achieve the best value for the company in terms of quality, cost, service, and payment terms.
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to;- Source and vet suppliers for the purchase of equipment, goods and services according to the needs of the business and its operations, ensuring the best value for the company in relation to quality, cost, service and payment terms
- Coordinate and administer the shipping of assets and equipment, ensuring that internal and external procedures are complied with, particularly in relation to documentation
- Raise the necessary purchase orders for the purchase of equipment, goods and services, track and record progress on the receipt of the items/services
Requirements:
Knowledge:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages
Skills:
- Ability to prioritise and cope with competing demands
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, external regulatory authorities and other employees using the interpersonal skills required of the work setting
Experience
- Experience of working in a procurement/logistics team
- Experience of using "ProcuretoPay" systems (ie purchase ordering system)
Qualification
- English and Maths to a suitable standard
- CIPS level 3 in procurement & Supply (or equivalent experience)
