Due to continued growth, our Banbury based client is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individual to join their established consultancy practice in the centre of Banbury as a Project Administrator.


This is a friendly and busy multi-skilled team, so you will be comfortable working at pace and will bring excellent organisational, administrative, and typing skills to the role.

Duties would include:

  • Maintaining project monitoring lists and tracking reports, reporting thereon
  • Building client relationships and providing regular Client updates
  • Producing Pro-Maps training would be provided
  • Setting up and maintaining hard copy and electronic files, saving project documents accordingly in a timely manner
  • Liaison with 3rd parties, obtaining quotations, chasing, and monitoring leadtimes, supporting the planners with the coordination and instruction of consultant teams
  • Site visits to take photos or place site notices
  • Assembling complex files and core documents
  • Managing incoming calls and messages
  • Arranging meetings for multiple individuals
  • Diary management for multiple individuals
  • Formatting and proofreading documents
  • Providing holiday cover within the wider secretarial and administration team
  • General administration support to the planning team to include scanning, printing, and photocopying and filing
  • Researching and locating documents via the internet using Search Engines, Government websites or Local Authority websites
  • Assisting in the production of exhibition material, to include display board, leaflets, letters, and mailings
  • Attendance at Exhibitions, supporting the planning team to set up and meet and greet


The Project Administrator position would suit someone who is reliable, personable, flexible, and confident, with the ability to communicate at all levels and remain calm under pressure.


In return, the Project Administrator will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a salary of up to £30,000 per annum DOE, discretionary annual bonus, generous leave which includes 5.5 additional discretionary leave days, six days full sick pay per year and contributory company pension.


Working hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday with a company-wide discretionary early finish on Friday (9am to 5pm on Friday).
