We are searching for a committed, passionate Event Supervisor who would enjoys making our guest and clients events run smoothly.

The Events Operations Supervisor will support the Wedding & Events Manager, execute each tailored event for all our guest and clients, hire and train waitstaff.

A day in the life of

As Events Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for most of our guests. Your role will be to welcome guests from all over the world with a friendly smile and exceptional service.

You will work closely with your Events Manager to ensure that together each shift is smooth and efficient and deliver the best possible guest experience every time.


Based in the Van Dyk by Wildes Hotel you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn't always mean working around the clock.


Some key duties as an Event Operations Supervisor

  • Execute the smooth running of the weddings or events to the exceed the guest/ client expectations
  • Ensuring all conference organisers are greeted and their expectations are discussed
  • Aiding the Manager in dealing with guest/client comments or complaints
  • To ensure the team are thoroughly briefed for event order of service
  • Advising the Manager of any noted shortfalls, service issues or unrealistic targets at the earliest opportunity well in advance of each event.
  • Liaising with the Manager to ensure the supervision of the service of food, wine and other beverages to ensure that this exceeds the guest's expectations

Is this Event Supervisor role right for me?


The Events Supervisor we're looking for will have a genuine passion for exceptional guest service, experience ideally gained within a Supervisory guest facing role.

Most importantly though, you'll have a keen desire and knowledgeable about what it takes as an Events Supervisor with your previous experience in this area.


Salary:
Up to £24,000.00 per year
