Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, including patients, children, and individuals with special needs
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication according to prescribed instructions
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
• Assist with behavior management techniques for individuals with challenging behaviors
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a support worker or caregiver is preferred
• Experience in providing patient care, dementia care, home care, childcare, or hospice care is a plus
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques is beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
