Hours of work

  • Monday to Thursday to 16.30hrs
  • Friday hrs to 14.30hrs
  • Weekend working 08.00hrs to 14.00hrs (when required)
  • Overtime Hours based on project requirements (when required)
  • Callouts (when necessary)

Purpose
The Supervisor will actively and enthusiastically manage staff through effective leadership and positive communication. The role will ensure accountability for safety, people, quality, productivity, and cost of all assigned work.

Responsible for management and leadership of assigned personnel through ensuring they are delegated tasks which satisfy the requirements of the organisation and client.

The Supervisor will be responsible for productivity through generating continuous improvement in working conditions and use of equipment and resources to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


The Electrical Supervisor will liaise with production leads and attend to any electrical services requirements on projects, comply with production demand and keep down time to an absolute minimum.

This will include organizing of shore power installations to the vessel's specification, management of the PAT records and testing.


The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing leadership to the electrical team.

This is a key role that requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.


The role will deviate from vessel projects at times due to stemmed vessels, you would then be required to oversee and manage electrical installations and upgrades on site.

Key Responsibilities of Role

  • To be dependable and responsible, punctual, and reliable.

  • Set clear expectations with regards to workplace behaviour including attendance, timekeeping, and conduct.
  • To be familiar with the Company's HR Policy's and liaise with HR for guidance on employee relations.
  • Set and agree SMART objectives to subordinates through positive and ongoing dialogue.
  • Contribute feedback on performance through continuous review of employee's quality and productivity.
  • Manage schedules and workforce planning through authorisation of leave requests.
  • Ensure any sickness and absence is reported as per the Company reporting of absence procedure.
  • Follow instruction and advice of Line Managers and Heads of Department to make a positive contribution to the workplace.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner in all contacts with Company personnel, clients, inspectors, supervisors, and management to maintain the excellent reputation of the company.
  • Comply with any reasonable request made by your line management.
  • Monitor work progress, maintain high standard of work and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide guidance & support to team members and deliver toolbox talks.
