Your role

  • As the Senior Global Medical Information Specialist you will have responsibility and accountability to work within the business to deliver timely, high quality and accurate scientific medical information and to deliver robust actionable insights.
The scope of the role includes

  • Provision of high level scientific medical information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provision of analytical activities by interpreting, executing and delivering key insights from the global medical information database; leading projects;
  • Provision of high quality LMR technical reviews;
  • Leading Congress Medical Information booth activities
  • Active participants in Global Medical Affairs Strategy Teams/Commercial strategy teams as required.

This role is highly strategic, dynamic and fast-paced and involves working in close collaboration across LEO Pharma including Medical Affiliates, Commercial, R&D Teams, Management, Vendors and Healthcare Professionals.

This is a UK head office based role in Maidenhead, with hybrid working options for up to 3 days from home per week.


Your qualifications

  • To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
  • Scientific Degree level or equivalent/Pharmacist/Nurse
  • Substantial experience in Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Have a strong and high level of scientific knowledge to be able to analyse data from all types of clinical data including Clinical Study Reports and published data in all forms etc
  • Must have proven strong technical/scientific writing skills and verbal communication including face to face with Healthcare Professionals and presenting to a variety of audiences
  • Proven high level technical and compliance when reviewing LMR materials and authoring SOPs and other highlevel process driven documentation

Your new team

  • Reporting into the Director, Global Medical Information you will join a highly motivated, dedicated, and experienced Global Medical Information Team focused primarily on Dermatology. We are responsible for driving the strategy of Medical Information at LEO Pharma and for Medical Information global, regions and outsourcing/partner activities. But that's not all, we collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and are active partners in Global Medical Affairs Strategic Teams.
