The Role:

We have seen the Eight business grow and grow in recent years, and this year is no exception.

In fact, growing talent, and developing our people in the Eight Way in 2024 is one of our top priorities.


With this in mind, we are looking to recruit a new member into Team People & Culture (Team P&C) who is passionate for recruiting the best talent, in a diverse and inclusive way.


This is a pro-active role, so we are looking for highly motivated, self starter, who loves a challenge, and is excited to try new ways to find the best talent.


This role is also responsible for managing our Aspiring Adviser Programme (Phase 1), which involves finding new cohorts, supporting them through their first 9 months in the business, and ensuring they have all the support they need to pass the remainder of the adviser exams.

Furthermore, you will also be our HR point of contact when we acquire new people through acquisitions. This means you will need to have TUPE experience.

You will also be responsible for managing the onboarding experience.


You, your skills and experience:


We've already mentioned that you will need to be highly motivated, a self starter, a passionate person, but in addition to this, you will be fantastic at building relationships with people internally and externally of Eight.

You will love collaborating to create an employee-centric culture.

  • You will have a solid HR background
  • Whilst not essential, experience in Financial Services would be extremely useful, especially when it comes to understanding our Aspiring Adviser Programme
  • You will be able to make great decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A great team player
  • Experienced in recruitment and onboarding
  • Experienced in HR (ideally CIPD qualified) & TUPE
  • You need to love and embrace the use of technology, and must as a minimum be proficient in MS Office
