A fantastic opportunity to join a global Manufacturing organisation who manufactures electronical solutions to be used in a variety of industries and sectors.

They are renowned for their quality and product specialists and ensure they can deliver a variety of products to a broad range of industries.

They are currently on the market seeking a CNC Setter to programme and operate CNC milling and turning machines both sliding and fixed head.


About the role

  • Create CNC programs utilising both CAD/CAM software and manual programming techniques to achieve efficient and effective manufacture of machined parts on 3, 4 & 5 axis milling machines, including 'inmachine' inspection using Renishaw probing systems
  • Investigate and establish appropriate tooling and workholding solutions.
  • Create documentation and toolkits as required to ensure future production runs can be carried out effectively by colleagues.
  • To input daily setting and production information into the production scheduling system and update the visual management systems, including the accurate recording of setting pieces and production scrap issues

About you

  • Strong background in Sliding Head CNC machining / Fixed Head CNC
  • Knowledge and experience in design & creation of 3d models.
  • Strong understanding of NC programs and structure. Ability to read program code and identify programming errors
  • Ability to prioritize personal workload to ensure efficiency in completing tasks

From £16.00 per hour
