The key responsibilities of the Marketing Officer will involve:

Contribute and support in the implementation of existing and new marketing strategies.
Carry out market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
Assist the marketing manager in overseeing the operations and growth plans of the department.
Play a pivotal role in organising networking and promotional events to promote the business.
Coordinate and work with outside agencies, such as designers, to produce marketing material.
Be involved in important decisions involving product advertising, packaging, media channels, and branding.

The Successful Applicant:

The ideal Marketing Officer will have the following experience:

Proven previous experience in a similar position.
A genuine passion for marketing with a great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles.
Strong understanding of market research techniques including statistical and data analysis methods.
Handson experience in developing campaigns and promotions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Creativity and commercial awareness.
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field.
