Description:
Responsible for the production, posting and distribution of customer invoices and monitoring of incoming payments to ensure all debts are collected within agreed payment terms and will be required to attend our office in Crewe one day per week.
Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Preparation and distribution of customer invoices
- Accurate posting of customer invoices in accordance with agreed contractual terms / pricing
- Administration and operation of Direct Debit process
- Accurate and timely posting of customer payments and refunds
- Work with Account Managers to ensure invoicing accuracy and prompt payment
- Distribution of reminders and monthly statements
- Contacting customers to request payment of overdue debt
- Weekly/monthly debtor reporting
- Dealing with internal and external account and billing queries
- Completeness and accuracy of customer data across all accounting platforms
- Timely completion of month end processes and production of monthly reports

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills
- Multi tasker
- Problem solver
- Accurate data entry skills
- Basic Excel skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a transactional finance role
Desired
- AAT foundation level (equivalent) or above
- Experience of Financial Reporting processes
- Intermediate Excel skills
Other Contextual Information/Special Features:
- Due to the scope of the role, availability outside normal Canadian or UK hours may be required
- Due to the nature of this role travel to IMS UK offices may be required (Crewe or Manchester)
