Description

We are looking to recruit someone who has excellent communication skills, great organisation skills, can multi-task, works well under pressure and can easily work both individually and as part of a team.

This post is mainly office-based however, there will be times when you may be required to cover shifts.


As a Care Coordinator you will;


Ensure all shifts are allocated and help with the recruitment of suitable Care Assistants and Support workers whilst following appropriate office procedures.


It is essential to have previous experience in Care Coordinating and it would be desirable that you have knowledge and understanding of the Care Planner, however full training on this system will be provided.

Care Coordinator Principal Responsibilities:

  • Permanent allocation of Care Assistants/ Support Workers to shifts and ensuring all shifts are always covered
  • Ability to problemsolve and manage challenging circumstances
  • Implementation of recruitment and vetting procedures of all Care Assistants/ Support Workers
  • Preparing appropriate documentation
  • Maintaining computer system up to date at all times
  • To work closely with the manager, the staff and customers
  • To ensure compliance with all office systems and procedures
  • To ensure that the telephone is answered promptly and people are spoken to politely and respectfully.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times and carry out the company's confidentiality policy.
  • To take part in the On-Call rota with EXTRA payment to cover this part of the role.
  • To ensure all rotas are completed sufficiently and on time via the appropriate system/s uses
  • Ensure all changes to rotas are identified via the electronic monitoring systems and the staff/ clients are informed promptly.
  • Previous use of Care Planner or Similar would be desirable.
  • Responding to queries raised via the oncall telephone (out of hours)
  • Be able to cover shifts on occasions.

Desired Qualifications.

  • NVQ Level 3 certificate (Essential)
  • 12 years
  • Driving Licence (Desirable)
