Marketing Executive

£30,000 - £35,000 + benefits

Swindon / Hybrid


I am looking for career minded, experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join a busy team working in an Agency, although previous agency experience is not as important as the right mindset.


The company specialises in sectors which allow them to dive deep into issues and get to grips with powerful solutions.

Those sectors include automotive, aerospace, defence, and security, industrial and engineering, building and construction, health and safetyand business services.


The Senior Marketing Executive will act as the trusted project manager with a good understanding of appropriate PR and marketing solutions.


Responsibilities:

Deliver great communications programmes: from strategy and planning to implementation, you'll be leading the team in results driven campaigns for multiple clients

Unearth powerful content ideas, planning & copywriting: researching content and story ideas, planning their format, writing articles, blogs, eDMs and social media posts as well as being able to brief the copywriting team and feedback/edittheir work

Manage social channels:Develop and build monthly schedules of content or specific campaigns to meet client objectives

Advertise: Run advertising schedules including booking ads / checking off invoices against planned ads / prompting for deadlines /chasing artwork / liaising for deadline extensions

Account management: Take problems away from clients and keep their programmes on track. Including admin tasks such as scheduling meetings, writing up meeting notes, formatting documents, proofreading etc

Creative and studio management: work closely with strategists and planners to uncover powerful insight and translate this into watertight creative and design briefs

Research and analysis:conduct desk research, sourcing and reviewing campaign metrics to draw meaningful conclusions/recommendations

Financial:estimate jobs, raise POs and invoices, and monitor budgets vs actual charges

Agency marketing: research and write content pieces for the business and be involved with new business pitches when needed


Skills/ Experience:


  • PR experience, and a passion for writing compelling content
  • A deep thinker, with the ability to soak up information and keep informed on industry news
  • Digitally driven, with strong digital experience
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a fantastic attitude
