Abodus Student Living are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician who is resourceful, organised and motivated to meet the needs of their residents and support the operation of their accommodation in Bristol.

Role Overview:

Responsible for the day to day repairs service on site, as well as providing a planned maintenance and caretaking services.

Oversee and manage external contractors whilst they are on site, ensuring behaviour and work standards are high-quality working standards throughout.

Ensuring all our buildings are kept fully compliant by undertaking testing in line with current legislation.

Providing excellent customer service to our residents and ensuring the building are clean and presentable at all times.

It is essential that the post holder has:

Requires in-depth knowledge of other building trades
This a multi skilled post that requires arears of: Painting & Decorating, Basic Plumbing, Wood working and Grounds maintenance
Practical knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Working knowledge of COSHH
Verbal and written communication
Professional personal presentation
Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure
Continually strives to improve knowledge, skills and abilities to produce the best results
