The Trust is looking to recruit an Executive Assistant (EA) within the Executive Support Team.


The EA will provide comprehensive personal assistance, secretarial, operational and organisational support to an Executive Director and her wider Team enabling efficient operation of their portfolios.

Part of this fast-paced role will require for you to be an effective communication link between internal and external senior stakeholders.


The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to suit the variable and developing workload in the Executive's office.


Required key responsibilities and skills:


  • To deal promptly with complex internal and external issues including enquiries and complaints as appropriate
  • Using initiative to both identify the elements of the matter and problem solve suggesting possible solutions where appropriate
  • Be extremely proactive in a very reactive environment
  • Exceptional organisational and diary management skills
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability
  • Flawless communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise an everchanging workload
  • The ability to work under pressure and reach/exceed deadlines
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Highly skilled in minute taking and meeting preparation
  • The ability to build relationships at all levels across the business and with external contacts
  • Confident with the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Coordinate and assist with recruitment for your Executive Director
