Description
To provide general administrative and communications support as part of the day to day operations of the communications department.

To record and share our media cuttings, including print, online and broadcast, including daily and other regular summaries.

To provide support for the department's events, including the staff awards.


To provide support in the sharing of communications via the website, intranet and UHD app, including editing and publishing meetings and videos.


Location:
Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital


Interview Date: 17th June 2024

Manage the administration of the communications department office ensuring that all media enquiries are logged, answered or escalated.

Draft social media posts, including taking pictures/videos of staff to include.

Support the production of publications for internal audiences, including monthly online magazine The Brief and twice weekly Staff Bulletin.

Monitor press coverage; maintain press cuttings and send daily and weekly updates on all media activity.

Support in event planning and delivery, including bookings and managing RSVPs, to ensure they run smoothly and to plan

Design and coordinate screensavers across all sites.

Update patient information screens across the hospitals.

Update intranet, website and app with latest news and events.

Be the key contact in the team for ordering equipment, printing etc. using eProc.

Maintain the team's ESR and training records.

Ensure distribution lists for key internal and external audiences, including the media, are up to date.

Support communications colleagues with campaigns and key projects.
