Description

The post holder will support the nursing team in the delivery of quality care and the provision of a continuous efficient and effective service.

In addition the role will support the provision and post procedural care of other imaging guided procedures.

Provide supplementary support to the leadership team, keeping Departmental and Trust objectives in focus.


Facilitate the on-going professional development of junior or less experienced Nurses, Imaging Assistants, Student Nurses and Radiographers / Radiography Students in accordance with Imperial Trust policies and procedures.


The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a professional, proficient and comprehensive support service alongside the modality lead radiographer, rotational radiographers, medical and non-medical staff.


As part of this role the individual must be proactive, able to closely follow instruction and maintain the highest levels of professionalism with both their colleagues, patients and carers.
