Planner - West Yorkshire, United Kingdom - Powell
Description
Review of the Master Schedule with Manufacturing Supervisors to determine the most efficient and effective workflow plan to achieve the scheduled project milestones.
- Identification of potential material shortages for each and every project, together with any associated expediting with the relevant Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Release of Supply Chain requirements from Oracle workbench and ensuring kitting of that material is made at the appropriate time.
- Ensuring mínimal inventory levels for their designated manufacturing units.
- Liaison with Dispatch at the appropriate time to effect delivery of the completed equipment.
- Forecasting future orders to determine appropriate staffing and resource levels.
- Update Weekly/Monthly KIP for performance in the business
- Direct support to the Master Schedule in the development of plans and initiatives.
- Administering meetings: minutes, agenda, and review.
- 3 5 years ERP system experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Discrete and able to manage sensitive information.
- A selfstarter, able to work independently and with little direct supervision
- Makes most efficient use of time and other resources through planning, prioritisation and organisation.
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Evidenced experience of internal and external Stakeholder / network engagement and management
- Responsive and adaptable to changes in the work environment and competing priorities and is able to deal with delays or unexpected events.
- Demonstrable energy, drive, commitment and dedication to achieving both own and company success.
- Proactive in approach, resilient under pressure, ability to maintain clarity and vision, and possesses a strong results orientation
- Ability to develop a plan, and communicate with purpose
- ERP / MRP Certification (Oracle/SAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Certification
- ONC/HNC qualified
- Familiarity with Oracle in a 'make to order' environment
- Lean Manufacturing Trained
