Our client, one of London's leading universities, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Weekend Library Assistant.

This role is to run until December 2023 in the first instance and will be a part-time onsite role based in East London and the hours of working will be Saturday -Sunday 10:45- 21:15.


The post-holder will work as part of the library team, providing first-line and administrative support for excellent customer services and the library-managed learning spaces and facilities.

You will respond to customer enquiries received at the library help point, via the live chat service (LibChat), or roving within the space and will provide timely and professional support at the point of need.

You will be on hand to assist customers with use of library services including borrowing, membership, and online resources, referring more complex enquiries to the Senior Library Assistant.


This post is looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so you will need to be available immediately in order to be considered.
