Description

A leading manufacturing group of specialist vehicles is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join them on a full time, permanent basis as they launch a brand new service depot.


Currently supplying a number of household names, this position offers the opportunity for an experienced mechanic to work on purpose built machinery, rather than entirely stock vehicles.


Typical Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Mechanical faults/issues
  • Carry out general servicing and repair
  • Keep work area clean and tidy at all times
  • Complete job cards for completed work
  • Any other duties as directed by the manager

Skills, Knowledge and experience:


  • A skilled mechanic with experience fitting HGV vehicles
  • City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ level 3 (HGV Mechanic/technician) or relevant industry experience
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Knowledgeable in quality standards and legal compliance


  • Driving licence

  • Ideally Class 1/2

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.00-£16.00 per hour
