Description

We are currently recruiting school cleaners for a number of schools across the Birmingham area. The role of a School Cleaner involves working in a school, cleaning classrooms and communal areas each day. The hours are usually Monday to Friday, This makes 12.5 hours a week.

If you are interested in more hours though, there is often scope to serve up dinners to the children each day from , making the hours up to 17.5 hours.

You will be expected to hoover and mop floors, wipe down tables and empty classroom bins.

The successful applicant will need to have a DBS, so it is important that you already have a recent DBS, no more than 12 months old, or that you are on the DBS update service.

If you have previously worked as a school cleaner, you will have the ideal background for this role, but that is not essential.
